Leap off the Plateau of Stagnancy

Do you ever feel like you’ve stopped growing?

This is not true. It is a LIE.

You are constantly being altered, shaped, and ebbed by the experiences, people, and ideas you surround yourself with.

Yet, you have a choice of what that atmosphere will be:

Will it be an environment you feel completely comfortable in?

                                Or…

Will it be a climate that will ask you to rise up and be challenged, an atmosphere that will force you to dramatically grow?

Both can be good in their own ways;

Whether you decide to take that leap and challenge yourself comes down to knowing what you need and what is best for you at that time in your life.

But often, even if we are ready for a change, we will still stick with option #1. The option that guarantees:

                Safety.
                Security.
                Structure.
                And…
                Stagnancy.

But have you ever considered that what you may need instead is:

                Strength.
                Supposition.
                And...
                Stretching.

An second option that will challenge and force you to stretch yourself beyond what you knew you were capable of.

Know your limits. But also reflect on what is right for you.

The most difficult thing to do at times is to take that initial step of figuring out what you need in order to leap off of that plateau of stagnancy.

Because as I said, you never stop growing.

But you sure can accelerate that growth….

If you so choose it :)
